The Solution
ENGIE worked with various supply partners including CHW Consulting and Lendlease to identify and deploy the most advanced and functional AV technology for the Bendigo Hospital Project. The solutions implemented offer the best technical features and are future-proofed with value driven systems.

ENGIE implemented a standout solution built with Crestron technology, that delivered a unified platform for seamless management and support.

Touch panels were deployed to make it easier for healthcare professionals to configure spaces which makes for a more efficient working environment. The new control systems allow for easy use through the panels brightness, resolution, fast touch response and greater flexibility and control.

Having all equipment outfitted in a standardised way allows hospital staff to easily control technology and systems across operating theatres, wards, meeting rooms and departments.

The facilities video and teleconferencing technology links Bendigo Hospital with other regional hospitals such as Swan Hill and Mildura. Healthcare professionals can perform an array of functions with the technology, such as display radiology or pathology results on screens within the hospital, as well as the screens of other hospitals.

The Benefit
ENGIE’s working relationship with Exemplar Health and Lendlease, proved that the final product maintained the expected level of excellence set out by Bendigo Health. This helped set a firm foundation for project delivery and helped maintain a strong relationship between the project stakeholders, allowing any problems to be dealt with promptly and efficiently. ENGIE provided an Account Manager, Project Manager and team of Installers and Technicians throughout this project, as well as providing a continuing Service team well after the job was completed.

ENGIE Engineers excelled in providing new and intuitive control technology that make it easier for healthcare professionals to configure customised spaces. In particular, the Digital Operating Theatre allows the head surgeon in each operation to select the preferred pre-sets and layouts based on the type of operation and the equipment intended to be brought into the theatre.

The ease of use and enhanced collaboration has improved communication and information sharing among healthcare professionals and has translated to smarter patient care. The new Bendigo Hospital incorporates the latest Audio Visual design and technology solutions into a tranquil and caring environment to provide treatment across the entire life span, from pre-natal to aged care.
